Tyrese Maxey Explodes for 54 as 76ers Take Down Bucks

The Sixers needed this one badly. After a rough loss last night, this win against the Bucks was important to avoid drifting toward that .500 area. It felt good to see the team respond the right way and show some toughness after the Raptors loss.

Maxey’s Big Night

Tyrese Maxey. What a problem. Every season he comes back with something new, and this year it looks like he upgraded in every direction. His scoring is already elite, but now the playmaking, the decision-making, even the defense ,it’s all sharper. He blocked 3 shots tonight! and that’s on a night he dropped over 54. Not many guards his size are doing that. And the shot variety keeps growing. Those floaters he hit today were high difficulty, but he made them look simple. He’s slowly turning into one of those players you trust every possession.

George’s Confident Attacks

George was another positive point. Not necessarily because of the shot-making, although he hit those too, but because of how he moved. The drives, the Eurosteps, the controlled finishes that require confidence and real pressure on the knees. Seeing him attack the basket like that is a good sign. It shows he’s comfortable in his body and not hesitant to be physical.

McCain Finding His Rhythm

McCain is also trending upward. Sure, he missed a couple of wide-open shots in the fourth quarter, but earlier in the game he hit a few and stayed active on both ends. The willingness to take those shots matters more than a short stretch of misses. You can see him getting used to the speed again, getting more comfortable the longer he’s out there.

These 3…

As for Barlow, Watford, and Walker, is it possible to take the best part of each and merge them into one ideal rotation piece. They all bring something useful, but they all lack the same key thing: consistent three-point shooting. For now, none of them looks like a long-term rotation lock, but each one still gives you something in short bursts. Just not all at the same time.

A thought

And one random thought that came up during the game: the national anthem before every regular-season matchup is an interesting tradition. In European soccer, for example, the anthem is usually only sung during major national tournaments like the World Cup or Euros, and outside of that each club just has its own songs or chants.

Now let’s beat the “all PLAYERS 80 on 2K” MIAMI HEAT.
